This publication is a collaboration between Rx Partnership and the Virginia Pharmacists Association and was created in 2010 when author Holly Gurgle, PharmD. completed a rotation with Rx Partnership on Medication Access. This article first appeared in the May/June 2010 issue of Virginia Pharmacist magazine.

Together RxAccess is a drug discount card created by several major pharmaceutical companies. The card gives discounts on medications and medical products; discounts vary depending on the product(s) purchased. Only individuals who are uninsured are eligible for the card.
